BR Merchant Navy Class Clan Line Locomotive

Arguably the most famous of the Merchant Navy Class 'Clan Line' was the last of its type to be rebuilt in October 1959. At that time the locomotive had achieved over 400,000 miles but by withdrawal the mileage had increased to nearly 800,000. 'Clan Line' is now maintained and operated by the Merchant Navy Locomotive Preservation Society Limited
